This is my own personal skincare recipe I have created with my knowledge of Ayurveda. I have had a lot of improvement with my skin using this. This can be used daily or periodically as a facial cleanser. It is a very gentle exfoliant to help cleanse the skin and remove dead skin cells. Can be used alone with with water or combined with milk or oil as cleanser or make into a face mask.

Chickpea flour is more drying to remove excess oil. Rose petals are antibacterial, soothing and moisturizing to the skin. Sandalwood is a natural, healing anti-inflammatory. Sandalwood has a natural fragrance which is calming and soothing. Fenugreek seeds have properties that mimic the effects of estrogen in the body. This makes them a great anti-aging remedy, keeping the skin soft, nourished and subtle. Fenugreek is rich in vitamins and nutrients. Coriander is an antioxidant to help cleanse from environmental pollution the skin absorbs. It is cooling and anti-inflammatory for the skin. The crushed mustard seeds help to detoxify the skin pores.

Be careful with commercial skincare products. You should not put onto your skin what you would not ingest. These chemicals are absorbed through the pores which go directly to the bloodstream. Most skincare products on the shelves contain harmful additives like parabens, sulphates, phalates, petroleum, dyes and even classified carcinogens like formaldehyde! These attack and altar the endocrine system leading to a lot of reproductive and mental health issues with women, including cancer.
